    Christians coming to North America have to adapt to a new culture and church traditions. In some cases, this is easier said than done. Traditions are deeply rooted and, sometimes, not scripturally correct but they are defended by many as the absolute truth. Tradition holds that wine is evil and, therefore, when wine is mentioned in the Bible, the reference is to grape juice and not alcoholic wine.
