- What Are You Searching For? --Joseph H. Hovsepian
In a popular tabloid, Elizabeth Taylor was once quoted as saying, "God
knows I have tried: I have tried fame, food, men, drugs and drink, but
I have never found peace." The story continues, stating that as Taylor
looked at her sleeping mother so very near death, she said sadly, "Maybe

- The Bible and Wine --Joseph H. Hovsepian
Christians coming to North America have to adapt to a new culture and
church traditions. In some cases, this is easier said than done. Traditions
are deeply rooted and, sometimes, not scripturally correct but they are
defended by many as the absolute truth. Tradition holds that wine is evil

to grape juice and not alcoholic wine. To a non-North American Christian,
this tradition is not hard to live with as long as he or she is not treated
as a sinner and mistreated by those with a "holier than thou" attitude.

ou « je hais la religion et les églises », ou encore «
je n’aime pas la religion, et je ne veux pas l’appuyer ».
